인천국제공항의 여객수요증가에 따라 2016년 제2여객터미널(Passenger terminal building-2)가 건설되었으며, 최종단계(4단계) 확장공사가 2020년 부터 진행되고 있다. 공항의 확장과 맥락을 같이 하여 여객주차량의 증가로 인해 새로운 주차장의 필요성이 대두되었다. 신축되는 T2장기주차빌딩은 제2여객터미널의 진입로에 인접해 있으며 T2로 부터 약 3.8Km 거리에 위치해 있다. T2장기주차빌딩은 전기차56대, VAN차량50대를 포함하여 총 6,448대의 차량이 수용가능한 아시아 지역에서 가장 큰 주차 빌딩으로 계획되었다.

ICIA PTB2(Passenger Terminal Building II) was built in 2016 in line with the increase in passenger demand at Incheon International Airport, and is expanding to the final stage in 2020. The construction of a new long-term parking lot was promoted as part of the four-stage auxiliary building design service in line with the construction of a new airport due to the increase in passenger traffic. The T2 long-term parking building, located about 3.8 kilometers from Passenger Terminal 2, was planned to be the largest parking building in Asia, with a total of 6,448 vehicles, including 56 electric vehicles and 50 VAN vehicles.
